Dream Center Missons Trip

Dream Center Missions Trip      September 16-22, 2013

Human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal industry with over 27 million  people held in bondage across the world . Not only happening worldwide, but in the USA with Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco being identified as  primary hotspots for human trafficking activity.

 Why We Exist: Our Mission

The Dream Center’s purpose is to reconnect isolated people to God and a community of support by providing human services that address immediate and long-term needs in the areas of homelessness, hunger relief, medical care and education.

 What We Do: Our Vision

We are building a community of resilient people whose lives have been redeemed by God’s love. The lives we change are not merely examples of God’s power to restore broken lives. The men, women and families we help also go on to share that love with others, to pass on the hope they have been given, and to make transformation possible for others.

Got Books

Hope Christian Church seeks used books for fundraiser

Want to get rid of your used books? We are raising money through donations of new and used books, CDs, DVDs, records and audio books. We have a drop-off donation container to collect these items from community members who’d like to repurpose their used goods while also helping the church raise money. The group will be paid on an ongoing basis for all items collected in their donation container. The gray book donation container, distinguished by its purple and yellow ‘Got Books?’ signs, is located in the parking lot of the church at 211 Montowese Avenue, North Haven. This program is an ongoing fundraiser and donations can be made by the public at any time. All funds raised through the collection of these donations will benefit www.specialtouch.org. An organization whose goal is to provide disabled individuals around the United States or their families with a summer camp.  Your donations help sponsor individuals who would not be able to attend without your help!
